Have you ever been at the grocery store and seen that crazy looking lady hovered over the grocery discount buggy? You know, the one grabbing arm loads of price reduced bakery bread like she’s on a 30 second shopping spree.
Yep, that’s me. Guilty!
I bet if you ever really saw me you’d probably wonder what in the world I’m doing with all that bread. Well the truth is, I do a lot with it.
I love getting my hands on some discounted French, Sourdough or Ciabatta bread. (All still in date and fresh.)
When I get home from the store I simply toss it into the freezer until I need it.
Discounted bakery bread can be used for lots of things. Homemade garlic bread, salad croutons, or cubed for stuffing. I even grind them up to make bread crumbs for rolling chicken in, or adding to meatballs….
